Perform… Or Not!
Process Improvisation never requires that you perform. Just show up, have a blast with your fellow improvisers in our studio, and then go home, smiling. This approach to improvisation suits many of our students. No pressure, no limelight, no audiences: just participants. Brilliant!
But what if you WANT to get on stage and practice performing? We understand that, 💯. David’s teacher Stan Wells was fond of preaching that performing is a crucial part of the learning process. We’re here to help you get to a performance skill level and can recommend places to improvise in Portland with supportive audiences, something you’ll see in the photos of our students below.
Either way, we’ll make a home for you in our studio and ensure that you’re always comfortable participating in our most joyful and collaborative art form.
